On Nature & Nurture Careers Day, children will step into the world of outdoor mentoring and animal care, discovering how nature can be a powerful tool for wellbeing, confidence, and personal growth. Through hands on activities, they’ll learn how caring for animals teaches responsibility, empathy, and calm communication. They’ll explore how outdoor spaces can support emotional regulation, teamwork, and problem solving, just like in real wellbeing and support roles. By the end of the day, they’ll understand how nature, animals, and positive mentoring come together to help people feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive. This session is free for children with a HAF code and in receipt of free school meals. There is an option to pay for those who don't qualify for this.
